When to Wear Faux Eye Lashes

If you haven’t noticed, false eye lashes are back and more popular than ever! With your local nail salon now applying them, falsies aren’t just for the stage anymore. They are an easy way to spruce up your look or to express yourself, but caution should always be exercised when wearing lashes to make sure you are appropriate for the occasion. High drama eye lashes aren't the most appropriate to wear to work (depending on the job). One should know the proper thickness and length to wear for the time of day. Start with knowing your intention for wearing the lashes. Is it to enhance or to glam up the natural lash, or is it just for fun? With that in mind, follow the simple guidelines below, and you'll be on your way to the glamorous life.

Type of Lash:
1. Individual Lashes - Best for day time wear. They will enhance the natural shape of your eye and you can control how heavy you want to apply them in any area. Great for top and bottom lashes. Top off with a light coat of mascara and no one in the office will notice you have on faux lashes.
2. Full Strip of Lashes - Depends on the thickness. If light thickness, these too can be good for day wear. As you approach a fuller strip you will want to reserve those for late afternoon to evening wear. Pictured below are Make Up Forever Lash strips.
